ABWA Official Website - The 2^nd scientific-specialized conference “The study of the works and indicators of the introduction of Shiite Islam in the international arena in the contemporary world” will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom. The organizers of this conference were AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, in cooperation with Al Bayan Institute for Communication, Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) University, University of Religions and Denominations, General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Qom, Scientific Association of Translation and Foreign Languages of the Seminary, Faculty of Theology of Teheran University, Center for International and Communication of Seminaries, Tolou International Center, International Institute Al-Huda, and Al-Mortaza (a.s.) International Institute. In this conference, Hojat al-Islam, Dr. Mahdi Farmanian, Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and a faculty member of the University of Religions and Denominations, gave lecture on the “Requirements to introduce Shiite Islam to non-Shiites”; Professor Legenhausen, translator and a Lasting Figure of philosophy and a faculty member of the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Education and Research Institute, on the “Comparative study of the works of introduction of Islam and Christianity in the West”; and Dr. Yousuf Daneshvar Nilo, Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Toronto and a faculty member of the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Education and Research Institute, on “Suitable book to introduce Shiite Islam, comparing the works of Western scholars who study Shiism”.

Faculty member of the of Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute stated, “Imam Musa Sadr is an outstanding example of a successful international missionary who performed this important issue in the atmosphere of that time in Lebanon.”

University professor and director of Sayedah Zaynab (a.s.) Institute in Syria considered the holding of the 7^th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly as a good opportunity to get to know the elites of the Islamic world and cultural exchange.

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The United States is the definite enemy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We need to reconsider the type of interactions in some areas. But we do not withdraw from the values of Islam and the Islamic Revolution. The Islamic system won’t give in to chaos and corruption.”

A missionary lady in Italy said, “In Italy, we are trying to strengthen our activities by holding conferences, gatherings of Shiites and Muslims.”

Emphasizing the role of media outlets and media activists in confronting Islamophobia, Christiane Zahra Guillaume, a Muslim lady and French documentary maker, emphasized, “The tomorrow world is the world of picture and the world of the moments.”

The director of the Islamic Center of Brazil stated, “Based on the Supreme Leader’s order to “be active and up to date in the cyberspace”, the Islamic Center of Brazil, in addition to translating and publishing religious books, is also very active in the cyberspace.”

Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, advised the young people to appreciate their youth and pay special attention to the Imam Hussain (a.s.) Hey’ats, and stated, “Hey’ats should keep alive the memory of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and be the center and base for enlightening the facts.”
