With the participation of professors and experts, the fourth pre-conference of the international conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) entitled “Abu Talib (a.s.); the believer of the Quraysh” was held in the building of the academic associations of the seminary in the holy city of Qom.

The fourth Academic pre-conference of the international conference of "Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.)" entitled "Abu Talib (a.s.), the believer of the Quraysh" will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 in Qom.

“Historical reports state that in the She’b (valley) of Abi Talib (Quraysh boycott against Prophet Muhammad), Hazrat Abu Talib sometimes changed the place of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) several times in just one night (in fear of assassination by Quraysh), and these actions cannot be measured by any criterion except the criterion of faith.” said a member of the faculty of the Institute for Research on History and Life of AhlulBayt (a.s.).

According to the consensus of scholars from the time of Sheikh Kulayni, Sheikh Saduq, and Sheikh Mofid onwards, the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) – Shiites – have quoted in all books, writings, and hadiths that Abu Talib (a.s.) was a Muslim and even his faith played a very important role in preserving Islam.

“Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) is considered the role model of brotherhood and approximation of the Islamic world. Because the conference is international, researchers from across borders should be consulted”, the president of Jamiat al-Zahra said.

The Secretary of the Academic Committee of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.)  said, “The enemies, especially the Nawasib and the Wahhabis, raise many doubts against Abu Talib (a.s.). For that, one of the goals of the conference is to remove ambiguity and doubts from him.”
