The final statement of the ABWA’s Supreme Council Conference
In the 194th conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, with the presence of council members and guests, in addition to organizational issues, the latest developments in the region were discussed. At the end of the conference, the members of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly announced their positions in a statement.
ABWA Official Website – On Saturday, October 17, 2024, the 194th conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held in Qom. In a statement at the end of the conference, the members of the Supreme Council announced their views on the important events of the Islamic world and Shiism.

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“Allah will indeed defend those who have faith. Indeed Allah does not like any ingrate traitor.” (Holy Quran, 22: 38)
The 194th conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held in the vicinity of the Holy Shrine of Lady Masoumeh (a.s.) and the city of knowledge, jihad, and ijtihad; in a situation where the Islamic world witnessed the heightening of the battle between right and wrong and the courageous resistance of the Palestinian Muslim people and Lebanon, and the crimes committed by the Zionist regime; and the oppressed martyrdom of the Lord of the Martyrs of the Resistance Front, the standard-bearer of the freedom of the Holy Quds, the first Qibla of Muslims, and a prominent member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Mujahid Allameh, martyr Hojat al-Islam Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, along with several of his comrades and Hezbollah commanders; after the martyrdom of the great Mujahid and the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Martyr Ismail Hanieh, and the fighters of the Resistance groups in Gaza, on the eve of the first anniversary of the historic and victorious epic of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.
In this conference, with the presence of honorable council members and guests, in addition to organizational issues, the latest developments in the region were discussed, and at the end, the members of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly announced their positions in a statement as follows:
1. The irreparable loss and martyrdom of the Arab leader of the Islamic Resistance, Mujahid Allameh, Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, was a great tragedy that grieved the Islamic Ummah. The Lord of the Martyrs of Resistance, for thirty years, was at the peak of a difficult struggle, and during this time he could gradually promote Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance movement in Lebanon and the region. His efforts to strengthen the position of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers, and his emphasis on the unity of the Islamic Ummah, make a pure tree to fruit that not only all Muslims but also the free people of the world will always benefit from its blessings. The efforts of Mujahid Allameh Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, as a prominent member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and his attention to the issues of the Islamic Ummah, especially the cause of Palestine, and his active participation in promoting pure and authentic Muhammadan Islam, and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, will always be a model and example for all members and affiliates of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
2. Considering the wise guidelines and instructions of the wise Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, regarding the importance of progress and more enthusiasm for activity after the martyrdom of the lord of the martyrs of the resistance, and his emphasis on the need to maintain the unity and solidarity of Muslims in order to achieve dignity, and overcome obstacles, the members of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, consider the Supreme Leader’s statements as a roadmap for the Islamic Ummah, especially the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers, to continue the struggle against the American-Zionist project, and to stand against the crimes of the occupying regime of Quds in the region, and declare their full readiness to make more efforts to realize these guidelines, and emphasize the Islamic unity, solidarity and cooperation of all Shiites in the world.
3. Hereby, the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expresses its gratitude for the time-appropriate positions of the great Shiite sources of emulation in the seminaries of Qom, Najaf, and other Islamic countries, especially the wise and visionary Marja, Grand Ayatollah Sistani in his all-round support for the oppressed in Gaza and Lebanon, and expressing authoritative positions in denouncing the Zionist regime.
4. The atrocious actions of the Zionist regime and its crimes against people and countries, including the killing of oppressed people, especially women, and children, in Gaza and Lebanon, all of which are taken took place with the support of global arrogance led by America, denote the great and permanent deception of Western civilization after World War II regarding human rights, international laws and mechanisms, and humanitarian rights during armed conflicts. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly strongly denounces the regime’s crimes, America’s support, and the silence of the leaders of Western civilization despite profound changes in world public opinion, and emphasizes that this all-round support and the West’s devious and double positions, by God’s grace, will fail against the divine will and determination of the Resistance forces, and cannot save this evil regime from the predicament it is in, and God willing, it will soon lead to its destruction.
5. The members of the Supreme Council of the Assembly emphasize that in the current situation, the priority of the Islamic world is to support the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly calls on all the free people of the world that in this humane, right-seeking, and justice-seeking confrontation while standing on the right side of history, rushing to the aid of the oppressed with all its material, spiritual, and media facilities, and to thwart the project of imposing unilateralist hegemony of America and its illegitimate child in the region.
6. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly calls on all the scholars, intellectuals, and masters of speech, pen, and media all over the world to pave the way for helping the oppressed and displaced people in the current unequal war and clarifying its truth; and through all communications, especially in cyberspace, holding rallies and demonstrations, media activities, etc. inform the members of the Muslim Ummah and the free people of the world, especially the young generation, about the current human tragedy.
7. We would like to express our gratitude to all the Muslim nations, Islamic institutions and centers, the countries of the region, especially Iran, Iraq, and Syria, and the Holy Shrines that welcomed and accepted the war-afflicted and homeless refugees from Lebanon and provided accommodation, healthcare, education, and other services. We also express our gratitude to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly for trying to explain and implement the advice of the great Shia leadership in supporting these oppressed people, and we want the continuation of these Godly and humanitarian actions.
8. In the end, while expressing our gratitude to the management of the honorable Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the efforts of all departments of the Assembly in the last five years, and wishing success for this holy institution in the future, and honoring the memory of the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance Front in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, and supplication for their elevation in the presence of Almighty God; we thank the Islamic Republic of Iran and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly for hosting this conference of the Supreme Council.
