Ulama need to participate in helping the Lebanese people: ABWA’s Secretary General
Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “We are witnessing the displacement of many Lebanese citizens in Beirut and other cities of Lebanon and different countries. Everyone should help these refugees and try to solve their problems. Grand Ulama should participate in this matter and pay serious attention to this issue in their regions and countries.”
ABWA Official Website – On Thursday morning, October 17, 2024, the 194th comprehensive conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly began with the presence of members of the council in the meeting hall of the Assembly in Qom.
In an interview on the sidelines of this conference, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Today, October 17, 2024, the conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held with the presence of members of this council from Iran and different countries of the world. The mood of the conference was spiritual, and when some members saw each other and shook hands, shed tears in memory of the lord of the martyrs of the Resistance, Allameh Sayed Hassan Nasrallah. He was literally a scholar, pragmatist, manager, resourceful, politician, mujahid, and resistant. He led the Resistance Front in Lebanon for thirty years. Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah dedicated himself to Islam, AhlulBayt (a.s.), and the Resistance Front, and reached the high position of closeness to God. He was a true example of the phrase “lived blessed, died blessed”.”
“In the conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, various issues were discussed, such as regarding the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza and Lebanon, including infanticide, killing defenseless women, and targeting public welfare centers, hospitals, and other centers among the problems that have arisen after these attacks. We are witnessing the displacement of many Lebanese citizens in Beirut and other cities of Lebanon and different countries. Everyone should help these refugees and try to solve their problems,” he continued.
“Humanitarian aid and aid based on religious beliefs should be seen here. There is a need to accommodate the refugees of the war in Lebanon and to provide them with the necessary heating equipment due to the cold weather in the coming months. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly also, fulfills its duties and has been entrusted to by the Supreme Council of the Assembly. Grand Ulama should participate in this matter and pay serious attention to this issue in their regions and countries,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
Ayatollah Ramezani also spoke about the statement of the comprehensive conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. “At the end of the 194th Comprehensive Conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, a statement was issued in which various issues were mentioned, including issues related to the Resistance Front and the countries of this front. The conference started in the morning and continued until 5 pm. It started with the remembrance of the Lord of the Martyrs of the Resistance Front and ended with Dua Faraj. Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, this descendant of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), was popular among different strata of people, and not only Muslims and Shiites, but even non-Muslims loved this Sayed of Resistance.”
