The divine scholar, Mujahid Faqih and teacher of ethics and morality, “Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi” was one of the active members of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Ayatollah Ramazani’s Message of condolences on demise of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi

Ayatollah “Reza Ramazani” issued a message of condolence after the demise of the former chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, a member of the Assembly of Leadership Experts and a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, Ayatollah Allameh “Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi”.

In his message, Ayatollah Ramazani considered the Allameh Mesbah’s demise a great loss, and referring to his services, wrote, “Writing and compilation of more than one hundred precious works in various fields of Islamic knowledge including Tafsir, Hadith, beliefs, Fiqh, Philosophy, Law, Ethics and Politics many of which have been translated to various languages, as well as publishing numerous academic and research magazines under his authority will be remnants of this scholar thinker’s righteousness and like shining lights, illuminate the path of the seekers of knowledge and wisdom.”

Ayatollah Ramazani added, “But perhaps the greatest success of that prominent Islamic thinker could be  the “the training of several religious and revolutionary generations”, the activity he began before the Islamic Revolution at the Institute “Dar Rah-e Hagh” (“In the Righteousness Path” Institute in Qom) and addressed children and adolescents in an era of corrupt imperial culture; and after the Revolution, he followed these activities in “Baqir al-Uloom Cultural Foundation”, “Office of Cooperation between Seminaries and Universities” and then “Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute”. The result of these activities has been the training of a dynamic human capital of revolutionary scholars and thinkers as well as committed managers who have filled various academic and practical gaps in seminaries and universities and are responding to various needs in the executive systems and military forces.”

The text of the message is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Allah, (SwT) said in Holy Quran, “Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving.” (Holy Quran: Sura Fatir:28)

The demise of Mujahid jurist and teacher of ethics and morality “Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi” aggravated the suffering of the loss of a large number of scholars in the recent period.

Throughout his blessed life, this polymath scholar of theoretical and traditional studies, spread has spread the teachings of the Thaqalayn (AhlulBayt (a.s.) and the Quran) in various ways and developed the intellectual foundations of the Islamic Revolution and provided unparalleled services – whether when secretly published religious publications during the oppressive period of Shah, or when from Minbar taught the divine theology and ethics, or when he stood in defense of the Islamic Republic and Velayat-e-Faqih without fear of the cowardly attack of the opposition.

Writing and compilation of more than one hundred precious works in various fields of Islamic knowledge including Tafsir, Hadith, beliefs, Fiqh, Philosophy, Law, Ethics and Politics many of which have been translated to various languages, as well as publishing numerous academic and research magazines under his authority will be remnants of this scholar thinker’s righteousness and like shining lights, illuminate the path of the seekers of knowledge and wisdom.

But perhaps the greatest success of that prominent Islamic thinker could be  the “the training of several religious and revolutionary generations”, the activity he began before the Islamic Revolution at the Institute “Dar Rah-e Hagh” (“In the Righteousness Path” Institute in Qom) and addressed children and adolescents in an era of corrupt imperial culture; and after the Revolution, he followed these activities in “Baqir al-Uloom Cultural Foundation”, “Office of Cooperation between Seminaries and Universities” and then “Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute”. The result of these activities has been the training of a dynamic human capital of revolutionary scholars and thinkers as well as committed managers who have filled various academic and practical gaps in seminaries and universities and are responding to various needs in the executive systems and military forces.

He was also one of active members of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly which chaired the council for fifteen years and during the period of consolidation and development the assembly, played a key role in directing its activities to promote the intellectual and cultural status of the world’s Shiites.

Attention and recourse simultaneous with knowledge and love towards the AhlulBayt (a.s.), especially the Imam Mahdi (a.s.), will be a great spiritual reserve for him in the Hereafter.

I offer my condolences on this irreparable loss to Imam Mahdi (a.s.) as well as to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Sources of Emulation, seminary and university academic centers, his students and enthusiasts - especially his reverend son-in-law and our dear brother, member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hujat al-Islam Mohammadi Araqi, and also to his virtuous and honorable wife and children of the noble Islamic thinker.

I ask God, the Almighty, for this pious thinker the higher position in heaven, to unite his soul with the AhlulBayt (a.s.); and grant patience to all family members.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
