Hezbollah's survival owes to Sayed Hassan Nasrallah’s martyrdom: Secretary of ABWA’s Supreme Council
The Secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Islam was brought by the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), and it survives with the movement of Imam Hussain (a.s.). The survival of Islam owes to the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.), and the survival of Lebanese Hezbollah owes to the martyrdom of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah.”
ABWA Official Website – On Thursday morning, October 17, 2024, the 194th comprehensive conference of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly began with the presence of members of the council in the meeting hall of the Assembly in Qom.
In an interview on the sidelines of this conference with ABNA News Agency, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abulhasan Navvab, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly spoke about the impact of the martyrdom issue on the Islamic Ummah. “Since the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in 61 AH until now, martyrdom has had no effect on us other than creating endurance and strength. On the Day of Ashura, the companions of Imam Hussain (a.s.) were only 72 people. But how much has the number of Shiites increased today? This is the effect of the victory of Imam Hussain (a.s.) on the Day of Ashura. The appearance of the case is that the martyrdom is a damage. But in fact, the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.) is the secret of blessing, life, endurance, and victory in the Shiite world, from the time of the Ashura event to the contemporary era.”
Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abulhasan Navvab further emphasized, “After the martyrdom of Sayed Abbas Mousavi (the former Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah), everyone in the beloved Lebanon thought that the role of the Resistance was over with his martyrdom. But then Sayed Hassan Nasrallah came and started working in Hezbollah, and the victories began. 32 years after the martyrdom of Sayed Abbas Mousavi, we see that the Lebanese Islamic Resistance has become a blessed tree that the martyrdom of any figure does not affect it, even if it is the martyrdom of its all commanders. The structure and system that Sayed Hassan Nasrallah founded in the Lebanese Hezbollah movement is the secret of the life and blessing of the movement. Perhaps, we imagine that the commanders and leaders of Hezbollah are martyred, but Hezbollah is alive and continues its way. After the martyrdom of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, we can see that the Lebanese Hezbollah movement is more victorious every day than the previous day. After the martyrdom of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, this movement remains, and Hezbollah exists in the soul of all Shiites.”
In the end, the Secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “On the day of the martyrdom of Sayed Hadi Nasrallah, the son of martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, everyone told the Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General that “we are all Hadi.” Today I say that all of us are Hezbollah. The Lebanese Hezbollah movement is influential in the world. Islam was brought by the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), and it survives with the movement of Imam Hussain (a.s.). The survival of Islam owes to the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.), and the survival of Lebanese Hezbollah owes to the martyrdom of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah. This process continues from the beginning of Islam until the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.).”
