Opening of the Faculty of Islamic Studies of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Int’l University, Qom
In the opening ceremony of the Faculty of Islamic Studies of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, Hojat al-Islam Saeed Jazari, the president of the university said, “Qom has various scientific-cultural reserves and experts in various fields. This city has the best religious libraries in the country. Therefore, we found it necessary to establish a scientific center affiliated with AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University in Qom.”
ABWA Official Website – On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the new educational complex of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University titled the “Islamic Studies Faculty” was opened in Qom with the presence of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and a group of professors and students of this international university.
In this ceremony, Hojat al-Islam Saeed Jazari, the president of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University said, “We based our work on the two words: development and transformation. In various departments of basic sciences, we are making the necessary arrangements, one of which was the establishment of the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Qom.”
“The same assessment was also examined in technical engineering fields and basic sciences,” he continued, “Regarding the development of the university in Qom, we had this goal in mind that we should have a center in the best place of science and education of AhlulBayt (a.s.), which is the city of Qom.”
“Qom has various scientific-cultural reserves and experts in various fields. This city has the best religious libraries in the country. Therefore, we found it necessary to establish a scientific center affiliated with AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University in Qom,” Hojat al-Islam Jazari added.
“Another reason for the development of the university in Qom is the capacity of prominent figures who live in the city. Qom will be the philosophical-intellectual base for AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University,” Jazari expressed.
“Qom has a high capacity to better introduce AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University. The professors who are in this province, as well as the scientific seminars that will be held in the Faculty of Islamic Studies, will be effective in introducing the university,” he said in the end.
