Noting that the detailed statistics of the service “Together to heaven 3” are being compiled, a university and seminary professor stated, “Each consultant has given at least 110 consultations during his career. As a result, more than 12,000 consultations have been provided to pilgrims during the two weeks of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.”

In the first year of the mass attendance of Arbaeen pilgrims after the Covid-19 pandemic, counseling stations attending Qom seminary clerics were re-launched and operated during the 2022 Arbaeen ceremony.

This service with the inspiring name “Together to heaven” was performed two years before the Covid-19 pandemic in the Arbaeen Great Walk of Imam Hussain (a.s.). This year also, it was held for the third year under the title “Together to heaven 3”.

Dr. Reza Mahkam, director of this project, stated, “This year, we sent 125 brother and sister counselors to Iraq, who provided free counseling services at “Together to Heaven 3 Counseling Stations”.”

“These 125 counselors were stationed in 18 stations and 25 booths in four regions of Iraq, and people and pilgrims from different countries visited them,” he added, in an interview with ABNA News Agency.

The cities of Najaf and Samarra, as well as the main Najaf-Karbala Road (known as Tariq Ya Hussain) and inside the city of Karbala, were the four areas where the “Together to Heaven” group set up their stations.

About the scientific level of the consultants of this service, Mahkam said, “All the people employed in this project had expertise in Islamic psychology. These university and seminary consultants had at least a master’s degree in psychology, 18 of them had a doctorate degree and 6 were doctoral students.”

“The consultants participating in this project served in the said areas for two weeks from September 4 to 18, 2022, and each of them provided two shifts of counseling a day,” he added.

“Each consultant has given at least 110 consultations during his career. As a result, more than 12,000 consultations have been provided to pilgrims during the two weeks of the Arbaeen pilgrimage,” stated the university and seminary professor, noting that the detailed statistics of the service “Together to heaven 3” are being compiled.

While expressing his gratitude to these consultants who were honored to serve Arbaeen pilgrims sincerely and with a voluntary spirit, Dr. Mahkam complained of some people who broke their promises and continued, “Unfortunately, no real or legal person helped us this year. Even everyone who made a promise did not fulfill it!”

It is worth mentioning that Arbaeen 1444 (corresponding to September 2022) was the largest Arbaeen ceremony of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in the history of this ceremony, in which 21 million pilgrims from all over the world participated. /345/
